Church Plant Prayer Guide

As we enter this intentional week of prayer, we are setting aside Monday as a day of fasting. Your fast may be the entire day, one meal, or another meaningful sacrifice. Remember, biblical fasting involves abstaining from food. Our desire is to continue building fasting into the regular rhythm of our prayer life as a church family.

This week, our focused prayer is for Story Church, our newest church plant launching this fall. Below are specific requests to guide you, but don’t feel confined to them. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you each day as you intercede for this new work.

Please pray for:

The TAP Team, as their process begins this week. Ask God for clarity, unity, and discernment as they seek His direction and begin narrowing down where He is leading.
The people in the community where the church will be planted:
- Those who do not yet know Jesus, that they would come to salvation.
- Believers who are “church homeless,” longing for a place to belong.
- Those who have experienced church hurt, that they would find healing.
- Marriages and families that are struggling, that they would experience restoration.
Leaders to rise up, sensing God’s call to be part of this mission.
JB, Sara, and their children, for protection, unity, strength, and joy as they step into this new season.

Finally, ask the Lord how He may be leading you to be involved in Story Church. Pray with open hands and an open heart, ready to respond to His direction.
