Pine Hills Daniel Fast

Beginning January 10, you’re invited to join Pine Hills in a church-wide 21-Day Daniel Fast. We believe that prayer will get you more connected to God and fasting will help you get less connected to the things that we make more important than God. We pray that God will bring spiritual breakthrough in areas where you’re desiring personal breakthrough. We encourage you to take this journey with us and to see what God can do in the next 21 days!

21-Day Devotional

As a church, we always love to provide supplemental resources to help us on our journey. We’ve put together a 21 day devotional that will challenge, motivate, and encourage you over the next few weeks. Not to mention, it was written by men and women within the Pine Hills family! Pick up a physical copy by visiting Pine Hills or download the digital version below.

Fasting 101

Biblical fasting can be defined as abstaining from food for spiritual purposes. Simply going without food because it is not available or for medical reasons is not biblical fasting. There must be a spiritual motivation to qualify a fast as biblical.

On the Daniel Fast, you eat plant-based meals that are nutritious and delicious, while setting aside other foods as an act of worship and sacrifice to the Lord. The importance of a Daniel Fast is in the heart of the sacrifice – disconnecting from regular luxuries for the sake of connecting more closely with God.

We’ve accumulated the most asked questions from last year’s fast and done our best to answer them accordingly. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out by using the contact form below.
