What is the Daniel Fast?

The Daniel Fast comes from the book of Daniel 10:2-3. “At that time, I Daniel, mourned for three weeks. I ate no choice food; no meat or wine touched my lips; and I used no lotions at all until the three weeks were over.”

This is a church wide fast spanning 21 days. During this fast we put aside “choice” food and drink and commit to eating food grown from seeds (fruits + vegetables) and drinking water. Our focus during these 21 days is to pursue the heart of God, bring specific requests to Him, and listen to how He is speaking in our lives and in our church.

Daniel Fast Devotional

As a church, we always love to provide supplemental resources to help us on our journey. We’ve put together a 21 day devotional that will challenge, motivate, and encourage you over the next few weeks. Not to mention, it was written by men and women within the Pine Hills family! Be sure to download it and follow along with us.
