7-Day Prayer Guide for Pine Hills

As we continue our series Heaven Hears, we want to create space for prayer to become a regular rhythm in our lives. This week we invite you to spend intentional time praying for our church, the ministries God has entrusted to us, and the people in our community who need the hope of Jesus.
As a church, our mission is to bring people to Jesus, build people to live like Jesus, and send people to multiply like Jesus. Each day this week we’ll focus our prayers on one part of that mission.
Below are prayer prompts to help guide you, but don’t feel confined to them. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you as you pray.

Day 01 – Our Mission: Bring, Build, Send

Please pray for:

  • Our church to remain faithful to the mission God has given us: bring people to Jesus, build people to live like Jesus, and send people to multiply like Jesus.
  • Unity in our church family as we pursue this mission together.
  • God to work powerfully through our church for His glory.

Day 02 – Bring: People Far From God

Please pray for:

  • People in our community who do not yet know Jesus, that their hearts would be open to the gospel.
  • God to give our church boldness and compassion to share our faith.
  • Friends, neighbors, coworkers, and family members who need the hope of Christ.

Day 03 – Bring: Worship Gatherings

Please pray for:

  • Our Worship, Production, and Creative teams as they prepare and lead our gatherings.
  • Every service to clearly point people to Jesus through worship and the teaching of God’s Word.
  • Guests and first-time visitors to feel welcomed and encounter the love of Christ.

Day 04 – Build: The Next Generation

Please pray for:

  • Our Kids, Youth, and Young Adults ministries, that they would help the next generation build their lives on God’s truth.
  • Students to develop a genuine relationship with Jesus.
  • Leaders and volunteers who faithfully invest in the next generation.

Day 05 – Build: Growing in Christ

Please pray for:

  • Our Men’s, Women’s, Spanish, and Seasoned Adults ministries as they disciple people in every stage of life.
  • Spiritual growth across our church as people pursue prayer, Scripture, and community.
  • Strong marriages, families, and friendships rooted in Christ.

Day 06 – Send: Living on Mission

Please pray for:

  • Our Send ministry as it helps mobilize our church to reach others.
  • God to open doors for us to serve and share the gospel in our community.
  • People in our church to live on mission in their workplaces, neighborhoods, and relationships.

Day 07 – Send: Multiplication & Vision

Please pray for:

  • God’s continued guidance as we pursue the vision to plant ten churches in ten years and reach 10% of our community.
  • Future church planters, leaders, and teams that God is preparing.
  • Our staff, elders, and ministry leaders as they shepherd and lead our church.
