Our Response to Coronavirus
Church at Home
Sunday, March 15 at 10:00AM
We want to inform you of the following precautionary measures we are taking for Pine Hills Church in relation to COVID-19/Coronavirus. We are mindful of the current health climate regarding COVID-19 and want to assure you that your health and safety are of our highest priority. Based on the statement made by Governor Holcomb, “Non-essential gatherings in the state will be limited to no more than 250 people. This includes churches, conference rooms, and auditoriums.”
As a church, we are in agreement with the decision and will submit to the authority that God has placed over us. Our responsibility during this time is to prioritize the health and well-being of our church community and support our local health and government officials as they work to contain the virus.
“Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority, or to governors…” (1 Peter 2:13)
What this means for Pine Hills is that we will not be meeting at our physical location this Sunday, March 15. Rather, we will be doing church at home for an online experience at 10:00AM. We encourage you to join us this Sunday as we worship, pray, and are encouraged together. We are blessed that technology allows us the ability to still gather as a church. Even amidst this situation, we look forward to church at home this Sunday!
We will continue to update you as this situation develops. We are so thankful for your flexibility and understanding during this time. Our hearts and prayers are with those affected and we will continue to pray for resolution. We love you and we’ll see you Sunday for church at home.
