Build Groups

Here at Pine Hills, we desire to create more opportunities for more people to get connected in intentional environments and relationships where they can be built to live like Jesus and where leaders can step up to multiply like Jesus. With that in mind, we have a new discipleship initiative that we will be launching in 2024.

A Build Group is a short-term group designed to help you live more like Jesus.

DISCOVER YOUR UNIQUE CALLING

This class is designed to equip you for fulfilling the primary calling that Jesus has given each of his followers (Matthew 28:19-20). This calling is summed up in the mission of Pine Hills Church: bring people to Jesus, build them to live like Jesus, and send them out to multiply like Jesus. Understanding how Jesus has created and gifted you to fulfill this mission will lead to discovering the specific calling He has given you. We all have the call to make disciples of Jesus that multiply, but the context in which we do this is unique to each of us.

The Practicing the Way Course features eight sessions of teaching, guided conversation, and spiritual exercises designed to lay a foundation for lifelong apprenticeship to Jesus. You’ll form a fundamental understanding of intentional spiritual formation. We’ll explore how to follow Jesus in our busy, distracted, and increasingly secular culture.

BEING A DISCIPLE IN TODAY’S CULTURE

We will be discussing how to live as a disciple of Jesus in today’s culture. Topics include dating, friendships, how to seek wisdom from the Bible, how to pray, identifying lies and conflict resolution

GRANDMA + ME: ANSWERS IN GENESIS

Demographic: Grandmas + Grandkids (ages 5 – 12)

Join us this summer as we meet with Grandma’s and their grandkids to explore “The Answers in Genesis” books by Ken Hamm wherein he answers 22 of the most common questions kids ask about creation. There will also be a corresponding video study, games, and snacks.

We will be walking through Nehemiah specifically looking towards what wisdom that book of the Bible has for young men learning to lead well.
