Spiritual Practice: Scripture
Begins February 1
10AM-11AM
Scripture is the primary way we are “transformed by the renewing of [our] mind” (Rom. 12:2). As we think God’s thoughts after Him, we begin to develop the “mind of Christ” (1 Cor. 2:16). We begin to see the world as He sees it, think how He thinks, and feel what He feels. There are all sorts of ways to read Scripture—slowly and prayerfully, all alone, out loud in community, in deep study, while sitting under preaching in church, through memorization, and more. All work together to fill, form, and free our minds. Join us for this four-week study as we dive into Scripture and incorporate it as a regular practice in our lives.

Discovering Your Unique Calling

This two-session class will equip you to fulfill the primary calling that Jesus has given each of His followers (Matthew 28:19-20). This calling is summed up in the mission of Pine Hills Church: bring people to Jesus, build them to live like Jesus, and send them out to multiply like Jesus. This class will help you understand how Jesus has uniquely created and gifted you so you can discover the specific calling He has given you to fulfill His mission. We all have the call to make disciples of Jesus that multiply, but the context in which we do this is unique to each of us. Come unlock your God-given calling!

The Essential Guide To Prayer
Begins February 15
9:45AM-11AM
If you have a passion to pray or are looking to develop this spiritual practice alongside fellow believers, then join us starting this February! Acts 2:42 tells us, “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to PRAYER.” – Making prayer a priority is essential to the life of the believer. It allows us the opportunity to partner with God in order for His Kingdom to come here on earth as it is in heaven. Together we will read and discuss The Essential Guide to Prayer by Dutch Sheets in order to learn how to pray with power and effectiveness. Please purchase your book prior to our first meet date. Each Sunday we will apply these principles we learn in our reading by interceding together for our church body.
Everyday Evangelism
Begins February 25
6PM-8PM
Sharing your faith is not about winning arguments; it’s about winning hearts. And the way to do that is by engaging others with love, respect, and truth. In this five-session study, you’ll be equipped with practical, effective ways to share the truth of the gospel with your friends, neighbors, and coworkers. This build group will use Preston Perry’s Everyday Evangelism—a video-driven, discussion-rich study that blends short teaching, honest conversation, and at home reflection. Alongside leaders Ryan Woldman & Tiffany Gardner, you’ll see how God can use your story to shape someone else’s eternity and how to share the Gospel in your everyday life.
How to Hear God
Begins February 25
6:30PM-8PM
God has invited us into a relationship with Himself, and every healthy, intimate relationship has good communication. We both talk to God and hear from God. But how do we hear Him? How does He speak to us? How do we know if it’s actually Him and not ourselves or the enemy? What do we do when He speaks? This four-week group will help you grow in your understanding and awareness of God’s voice and your intimacy with Him.
