Short-Term Groups.
Long-Term Impact.
Here at Pine Hills, we desire to create more opportunities for more people to get connected in intentional environments and relationships where they can be built to live like Jesus and where leaders can step up to multiply like Jesus. These Build Groups are the perfect opportunity to do just that. Take a look through our current Groups, and get connected today!
UNDERSTANDING SPIRITUAL WARFARE
Wednesdays | 6:30PM
June 4 – July 30
Leader: Justin Sommer
Scripture is clear that just as there is a kingdom of God, so too there is a kingdom of Satan. Yet many Christians today are unaware of the ongoing spiritual battle and are woefully ill-equipped to engage in the work of spiritual warfare. Using Sam Storms’ book Understanding Spiritual Warfare as our guide, we will dig deeper into this topic to help give you a Biblical understanding and real-world examples of the spiritual war raging on around us. This will also serve as a great supplement to our Summer Sermon Series on the spiritual armor in Ephesians 6.
EVERYDAY EVANGELISM
Wednesdays | 6PM
June 25 – August 6
Leaders: Ryan Woldman & Tiffany Gardner
Sharing your faith is not about winning arguments; it’s about winning hearts. And the way to do that is by engaging others with love, respect, and truth. In this six-session study, you’ll be equipped with practical, effective ways to share the truth of the gospel with your friends, neighbors, and coworkers. This build group will use Preston Perry’s Everyday Evangelism—a video-driven, discussion-rich study that blends short teaching, honest conversation, and at home reflection. Alongside leaders Ryan Woldman & Tiffany Gardner, you’ll see how God can use your story to shape someone else’s eternity and how to share the Gospel in your everyday life.
STAND FIRM: ARMOR OF GOD STUDY
Wednesdays | 6PM
June 11 – July 2
Leader: Terri McCafferty
Join us for “Stand Firm: Putting on the Full Armor of God,” a three-week study rooted in Ephesians 6 that equips you to face spiritual battles with confidence and hope. Over four gatherings—the first is a relaxed introduction—we will explore every piece of God’s armor, uncovering what it is, why it matters, and how to put it on each day. Along the way you will gain a clear understanding of spiritual warfare and your role in Christ’s victory, learn practical tools to fight sin and persevere when temptation strikes, and discover how to draw lasting strength from Jesus alone. If you are ready to grow deeper, stand stronger, and encourage others in their walk, this group is for you. Come connect, gear up, and step into the life God designed—fully armed and unafraid.
WHY MOTHERHOOD MATTERS
Tuesdays | 8PM
June 3 – July 8
Leader: Jules Radin
Join us for “Why Motherhood Matters,” a six-week online Build Group designed to encourage and equip moms in every season of parenting. Together we’ll dive into biblical wisdom and practical insights that speak to the joys, challenges, and eternal purpose of motherhood.
Guided by the book Why Motherhood Matters (please have a copy handy), we’ll explore God’s heart for moms—how He uses our everyday moments to shape both us and our children. Each session will tackle real-life topics like overcoming comparison and mom-guilt, navigating overwhelm, loving our spouse well, teaching responsibility, and raising kids who know and reflect Jesus.
Whether you’re craving fresh perspective, faith-filled encouragement, or simply a community that “gets it,” this group will equip you to embrace your role with confidence and live out God’s love at home. Expect 30-45 minutes of reading and a verse to memorize between meetings to help cement what you learn.
Don’t miss this opportunity to connect, recharge, and discover why your calling as a mom truly matters—join us and let’s grow together!
GRANDMA + ME
Tuesdays | 9:30AM
June 10 – July 22
Leader: Cindy Walcutt
“Grandma + Me,” is a four-session summer adventure where you and your grandchildren can discover God’s Word side by side through prayer, songs, crafts, and a snack that reinforces each lesson. We’ll gather on June 10 at Pine Hills, explore creation on June 24 at the Fort Wayne Zoo, reconnect on July 1 back at Pine Hills, and wrap up with hands-on wonder on July 15 at Science Central. Every meeting offers a joyful space to grow in faith, share meaningful memories, and celebrate the unique bond God has given you.
